“Revolution” along with “I Love My Life” (Robbie Williams) were two of the first songs I added to my “Awesomeness” playlist on my journey ‘back’.
As with many decisions and beliefs we always have to stay mindful of when they empower and serve us and at which point they no-longer empower and serve us – and then transform them to- or replace them with- new decisions and beliefs. (ie even if you choose to embrace them now, reflect on them again later on your journey)
Try these on in your own journey and see if they serve you. For me personally, it reminds me of the words in both “The Mastery of Love” (by Don Miguel Ruiz) and “A Return to Love” (by Marianne Williamson) about the ego and it’s fear of [‘pure’, unconditional] Love. (“The monsters inside my head” representing for me, the stories/lies of my own ego)
As background see the post Using Song Lyrics for Empowering Decisions and Beliefs, as well as other songs I’ve posted in this Category.
And now, the Lyrics (with video link below):
“Can you see it?
The worst is over
The monsters in my head are scared of love
Fallin people, listen up!
It’s never too late to change your luck
So don’t let them steal your light
Don’t let them break your stride
There is light on the other side
And you’ll see all the raindrops falling behind
It’s a revolution
And we’ll make it out tonight
It’s a revolution
Rev, it’s a reva
Can you see it?
The worst is over
The monsters in my head are scared of love
Fallin people, listen up!
It’s never too late to change your luck
So, don’t let them steal your light
Don’t let them break your stride
There is light on the other side
And you’ll see all the raindrops falling behind
It’s a revolution
And we’ll make it out tonight
It’s a revolution“
